Aquesta setmana en Lluís “Nutty” ens ha preparat un programa especial. Arran de la mort de Sir Sean Connery, el passat 31 octubre, va començar a investigar l’estreta relació de James Bond amb l’illa de Jamaica. En com la figura de l’agent secret havia influenciat la cultura musical del país i, a la vegada, com Jamaica va ser essencial perquè en sorgís el personatge.

Quan els jamaicans van arribar a UK a finals dels anys quaranta, per racisme, tenien prohibit llogar sales per fer festes. Van començar a organitzar festes il·legals a les seves cases, on es venia alcohol sense llicència. Això eren les Blues Parties o shabeens.
